Facade UI vs Flowbite

A Flowbite alternative for local business and real estate sites, or a companion to it. Facts about Flowbite were read on their site on October 31, 2026.

What Flowbite is

Flowbite describes itself as "an open-source library of UI components based on the utility-first Tailwind CSS framework" with "over 56 types of UI components", its own JavaScript for interactive elements and guides for React, Vue, Svelte and Angular. The code is MIT licensed and the docs are CC BY 3.0; the repository shows about 9.4k stars. Flowbite Pro adds a Figma design system, block sections and dashboard UI; its price was not readable on the public page during the check, so see their pricing page.

What it is good at

A general purpose library with multi framework reach, admin dashboard layouts, a Figma kit and its own interactive JavaScript for dropdowns, modals and tooltips. Good for teams that are not React only or that build internal tools.

Who should use which.

Use Flowbite when

Use Flowbite when you need one component vocabulary across React, Vue, Svelte or Angular, when you build admin dashboards, or when the design team works in the Flowbite Figma system. Its conventions and JavaScript are its own, which keeps things consistent inside a Flowbite project.

Use Facade when

Use Facade when the project is React with shadcn and the goal is a public site for a trade, a practice or a real estate business. Facade has no dashboards and no Figma kit; it has the booking picker, the service area map, the listing grid and the valuation funnel, animated with motion, installed as source.

Use both

Mixing them in one page is possible but uncommon, because Flowbite brings its own class conventions and scripts. A cleaner split is Flowbite for the internal tool and Facade for the marketing site, sharing only the brand colors.

Common questions

Does Facade have a Figma kit?

No. Facade is code first. Every preview on this site is the real component, so designers can review in the browser.

Can I use Facade in Vue or Svelte?

No. Facade components are React only and need Tailwind v4 and shadcn.

Why no Flowbite Pro price on this page?

The public Flowbite Pro page did not render a price in our check on 31 Oct 2026. We link to their pricing page instead of quoting a number from a third party.
